Co-dydramol has dihydrocodeine as well as paracetamol so would be stronger, if it has the same amount of dihydrocodeine in it.

it depends on the amounts of active ingredients however over the counter you would tend to find that dihydrocodeine is stronger.

Hello Saints Hmmmm…. It depends on the preparation. Dihydrocodeine is a reasonably strong opiate pain killer. A Doctor can prescribe it alone as DF118 tablets that contain 30mg. Co-Dydramol is a mixture with paracetamol and they only contain 12.5mg of Dihydrocodeine per tablet. You can get a tablet called ‘Remedeine’ which is 30mg DHC + 500mg Paracetamol or ‘Remedeine Forte’ which is 40mg DHC + 500mg Paracetamol. So, to answer your exact question, Dihydrocideine (DF118) tablets are stronger.
