Which piano is better, Rudolph Wurlitzer or Baldwin?
Both brands are good brands, and have a good chance of still being a good piano. The best piano of the two is going to be the piano that has been taken care of. By that I mean tuned at least yearly. It is also best to have a piano that has stayed in the same humidity level all it’s life, a piano that lived in Atlanta (high humidity) then moved to Phoenix (low humidity), may have issues. Another thing to look at is the action. Do all the keys pop back up easily? Now most of the these things you are going to have to take the word of the person who is selling the piano. So I would say buy the piano that is being sold by the people you trust. One more thing, it doesn’t mater if the piano has been tuned recently, you will need to have it tuned after it is moved, a month or so after it gets it is in your home is a good time.
