Which recruitment agencies can employers/sponsors and overseas trained doctors use?
Employers/sponsors may use any recruitment agency to fill their medical vacancy. However, the Department of Health and Ageing will meet the cost of recruitment fees associated with placing an overseas trained doctor in an eligible medical vacancy only where employers/sponsors use a contracted medical recruitment agency. If an overseas trained doctor uses the services of a contracted medical recruitment agency to locate a suitable medical employment opportunity, no fee will apply.
