Which team will win sunday 5-0 giants or 4-0 saints?
Statistically the Giants have the edge, but I’m all about surprises. The Saints are a much more “feel-good” team, and their defense has improved greatly this year, due to all of the unique new sets and blitzes. Drew Brees is outstanding both in and out of the pocket, and the Saints have a deep core of wideouts that produce week in week out. To me this game is about avoiding turnovers. If Manning can keep coaxing his young wideouts to run their sharp routes like they have been for the first five weeks, then Mario Manningham and Steve Smith will have productive performances and sure enough the Giants will hang on. All this aside, I’m hoping for a 27-24 Saints win.
