Ok, so my munchkins are a little young to start memorizing advanced poetry (we’re learning nursery rhymes now). But, on my list of poems to know, if not memorize: The Village Blacksmith by Longfellow The Lady of Shallott by Tennyson When You Are Old by Yeats The Passionate Shepherd to His Love by Marlowe some of Shakespeare’s sonnets, perhaps bits of T.S.
