The Daily World McCLEARY — The world’s best motocross riders will spend the week riding through the hills, valleys and trails at the Straddleline ORV Park, continuing today and running through Sunday. The week, dubbed Bike Week, started last weekend with the AMA National Hare Scrambles and continues with the AMA MotoCross today. Racing began at 7:30 this morning and will run all day. Starting Friday, the World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS) will combine with the National AMA Series to present three days of championship racing. The AMA will award four “No. 1” plates at the end of the week’s races, while WORCS will award Bike Week No. 1 plates. Pro riders scheduled to participate this week are: Josh Strange, of Australia, who rides for Suzuki; Kurt Caselli for KTM and Mike Brown, Ricky Dietrich and Bobby Bonds.
