Which translation Software can be used to translate English to Chinese?
Do not use translation software to learn Chinese. (In fact, do not use translation software to learn any language.) Translation software cannot get grammar correct. The more different the languages, the worse it gets. Translation software cannot do context. “I’m feeling blue” is not talking about colours, but computers usually can’t tell that. Translation software is no good as a dictionary as it does not give options on how a word might be translated into another language. the “plant” as a verb could be translated in a few different ways, but the software won’t tell you that. “He planted his feet on the ground. He planted some flowers. He planted some spies in the company”. The only thing translation software is good for is getting the gist of what something is about. It should never be used for learning a language. Try this: put a text into google translate ( a few sentences), and then translate it back through a couple of languages. You’ll start to get some very strange text indeed.
