I think you should go with video baby monitor. It is one of best investment for your baby’s safety and protection. With the help of it, you can see and hear all the activities in your little one’s room and make sure its safety.

There are a few new updated baby monitors that can be bought. I find that having one that allows you to talk into the reciever and speak back to the child if you’re not in the same room is a nice features. Also, having one that allows you a visual from a monitor of what is happening so you can keep an eye on the child is good too! The two ways that allow you to do both could be from either one with a QR code allowing you to view and speak from you’re Smart phone or if the bay monitor device comes with a monitor and speaker.

I have bought one recently from Amazon, which they have really nice ones and a variety for some good deals. Plus, many beter qualities and better features for protection can be found there or many online shops.

Now, you do have options of sizes and I always feel a small and slimmer design is nicer and doesn’t take up too much space in the home, where it will be placed.
Plus, one with the night monitoring is also a good thing! It allows you more of a 24 hour visual anytime you want to take a peak on you’re child.
Also if it can include an Memory card slot, SD card to be placed inside, you can keep a recording if needed and not need to buy any extra cloud service. Some require you to purchase a service to hold your recordings. Though, if it allows you to insert your own card, that is if you don’t just want live visual you can capture every moment and review it if you missed something.

I suggest a video monitor. That way you can see AND hear baby. Best of luck!

Owlet Smart Sock is the new age technology in monitoring a baby. It tracks a heartbeat and pulse. My son felt uncomfortable at first day of wearing it, butthen he gets used to the device. It provides enormous control over baby’s health. Here’s a great article on it https://www.babymonitortown.com/owlet-smart-sock-review-this-baby-heart-rate-monitor/. Hope it helps.
