Which types of pollutants does the Mobile MaxPure® filtration and purification system filter?
A18: The Mobile MaxPure® freshwater system will remove waterborne infectious microorganisms such as protozoa, parasites, bacteria, fungi, algae, and viruses. Additionally the system will reduce levels of mercury, lead, heptachlor, chlordane and total dissolved solids. Finally the system provides a pleasant taste by reducing turbidity and improving color and removing odors. Reverse osmosis systems treat for each of the contaminants that the freshwater purification filtration treats, using reverse osmosis membranes. These reverse osmosis membranes in the final step of saline water purification process also effectively remove dissolved solids such as salts, as well as viruses, bacteria, fungi, algae and protozoa.
