Which version of Windows XP must be installed on a system that is using the Intel Itanium processor?

The Intel Itanium requires Windows XP 64-Bit Edition. This is not the same product as Windows XP x64 Edition. The Itanium has a unique 64-bit instruction set which is not shared by other processors, and Windows XP 64-Bit Edition works on the Itanium alone.
