Bram Stoker’s Dracula is a classic. I won’t call any of the movies “better” than the book. However, there have been some excellent screen Draculas. My favorites may be a bit obscure, but nevertheless, they are Louis Jourdan in a 3 part BBC series in the 70s and Jack Palance in a made for TV movie in the 70s. Christopher Lee in the Hammer Films series and Frank Langella also were creditable versions. Bela Lugosi set the original standard in the early 1930s, but I find the acting very stilted & the movie dated – unlike Dracula, it didn’t age very well, lol.
