While bleach might have better disinfecting properties, ammonia does a better job of cutting grease, so I’d vote for ammonia if you are washing a kitchen floor. I hate using both, because of the strong smell, so I personally use white vinegar and water to clean my floors. It cuts grease well and the vinegar smell dissipates, taking other nasty odors along with it!
