While Ekko Express was compressing pages, it took almost all the system CPU time, making page access very slow. How can I prevent this?
CODEKKO Software uses very efficient compression algorithms, but they can still be very CPU and memory intensive. For this reason, it is not recommended that Ekko Express is installed and executed on ANY production server. The whole concept of Ekko Technology is to consume CPU resources for compression on non-production servers in a effort to free up resources in the production environment. It is recommended that Ekko Express is installed and executed on a development PC, a testing server, or staging server and map it to a drive that contains the content. This is to ensure that when Ekko Express is in use, it will not effect any live production applications, only the single desktop PC or test server that it is installed on.
