Who are the top 2011 NBA Free Agents?
The Class of 2010 should be epic by the time next season starts. However, there are some good players heading toward the 2011 market, but with a gloomy future. This will be the same summer that NBA owners and the Players Association will have to negotiate a new CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement) contract that can agree upon. Since the new CBA could be more owner-friendly, the NBA is ready for another lockout if this issue doesn’t resolve anytime soon, so here’s the FA that could be affected by this offseason… 1) Carmelo Anthony, Denver It all depends if he was to sign a three year extension. If he does, he’s off the market beyond 2011. If he doesn’t, he could be the most sought after FA next season. All signs point that he going to sign that extension, fearing the new CBA contract could lower his asking price. 2) Yao Ming, Houston His future with the Rockets could all depend if he can perform in his All-Star form once again.
