Who are the top French singers?
Lol funny answers. Well I live in Australia but I have French TV and French connections so I may be able to help from a Western perspective. It depends what music you’re into, really. Yelle is good if you like dance music. I don’t really like her apart from this one song she sings with this comedian guy called Mikael Youn called ‘Parle a ma main’ (talk to the hand) which is pretty funny and catchy (plus you can learn the actions if you look it up on youtube). Other than that she’s a bit slutty. MC Solaar is a bit washed up now, I’m afraid. He had a good song quite recently called ‘Clic clic’ and he’s good if you’re into ethnic music (he has some good songs called Inshallah and ‘La belle et le ad boy’). Sheryfa Luna has a few good songs (‘Il avait les mots’ is one of her recent ones) but she is a song contest singer and I don’t know. I get a bad vibe from them.
