Billboard has made one of the most important announcements of the past 10 years by naming Mr. Daniel Powter as the biggest one hit wonder of the decade! Daniel Powter had a catchy, overly optimistic song entitled, “Bad Day” back in 2006 that topped the Billboard charts for 5 weeks in a row. He performed it on American Idol and even got one of the actresses from The O.C. to star in the video. The song was everywhere and spread like a venereal disease across international airwaves. After the unprecedented success of “Bad Day,” Powter’s career took a nose dive when he decided to take a couple of years off before returning with his follow up LP Under the Radar, which stayed just that.
