Who buys recycling material from a recycle plant?
You really have to be specific as to the waste stream you are targetting and the materials involved. Waste paper which is sorted into grades is sought by paper mills. Crushed glass is sought by glass producers although there is a surplus of green glass in the UK which saturates the cullet market. Scrap steel is highly sought by steel mills and aluminium by the aluminium producers as for glass, steel and aluminium they will use far less energy making new stuff from recycled waste than from virgin materials.
