Who can apply for Caring for our Country funding to run a devolved grants program, for instance through the increasing coastal community engagement target mentioned in Section 2.5?
Although subject to the normal open call eligibility requirements, the applicants who will most likely be best placed to deliver devolved grants programs will be organisations or groups, including government agencies, which are able to demonstrate the capacity required to administer a grants program effectively. Those delivering devolved grants will need to make sure that grants are delivered through a competitive process and that the spending of all funds is consistent with Caring for our Country 2011-12 contractual and business plan requirements.
