Who can benefit from laser treatment for facial veins?
Prior to treatment we will review your medical history to determine how long you have had a problem with facial veins. We will need to determine your skin type and if you have had any prior treatments on your face. We will also discuss your objectives and fully explain the treatment and projected outcome. Fortunately the range of patients who can benefit from this treatment is very wide. What happens in a typical treatment? How will you feel during treatment? You will be treated in a reclining position and given eye protection. There is no anesthetic needed and the laser and IPL hand pieces have a skin cooling device attached, so discomfort is minimized. How will you feel after treatment? After laser treatment, discomfort is minimal. Your post-treatment appearance will vary depending on what type of treatment has been undertaken.
