Who can file a lawsuit and when must it be filed?
A civil action to enforce the Arizona Minimum Wage Act may be filed by a law enforcement officer (which means the Attorney General or a city, town, or county attorney) or by any private party injured by a violation of the Act. The civil action must be filed no later than two years after a violation last occurs, or three years in the case of willful violation. The civil action may include all violations that occurred as part of continuing course of employer conduct regardless of the date of the violations.
