Who can join Girl Scouts?
Girl Scouts is for EVERY girl, everywhere. Girl Scouts is open to all girls in grades K-12 regardless of racial, ethnic, religious, or socioeconomic background; sexual orientation; nationality; or physical or mental abilities. Most girls who join are part of a troop, with increasing numbers of girls ages 12-18 participating as individuals. Age-appropriate materials are developed by Girl Scouts of the USA to enrich the girls’ experience and guide them to achieve their goals.
