There are many laboratories receiving funds from either the Department of Energy or the National Institutes of Health for the Human Genome research. There are five main sequencing sites and researchers from numerous universities across the United States. There are also researches being done all over the world. However, this is not a complete list. There are many other institutions working on the Genome Project worldwide.
