Welcome to the Alcohol Cost Calculator for USPS. Alcohol problems affect the United States Postal Service (USPS) just as they do every other business in America. Fortunately, the USPS is better equipped than many employers to help employees and family members who may be drinking too much through a well-established Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and insurance coverage for alcohol treatment equal to that for other medical conditions. All too often, however, alcohol problems remain hidden, harming the lives of employees and their family members as well as reducing productivity and increasing health care costs.
