As always, the child’s school and/or IEP team make the decisions about services. School personnel make the decisions to request screening and diagnostic testing. Online Disability Services (ODS) offers guidelines and a teacher’s checklist to help facilitate this process. Following testing, ODS will offer recommendations to the school/family/IEP team. The decision to enroll a child in speech therapy is the responsibility of the IEP team. Back to question list. How will the school know the test results?
