Who do you think Ricky Hatton should fight next?
We have already seen the outcome of a Hatton-Malignaggi fight, it wasn’t even close, Ricky can forget a re-match with Mayweather and Warren won’t risk Khan. Since he got knocked out by Pacquiao I have always maintained that he needs to fight a good, “name” fighter with little power. Juan Diaz fits the bill perfectly. If Hatton can’t beat Diaz he needs to retire, there’s no use in him fighting a JMM as a comeback and getting knocked out again if his punch resistance is a thing of the past. Hatton-Diaz would be perfect for Hatton to reclaim a bit of confidence, minus the risk as Diaz isn’t a puncher. If Hatton dispatches Diaz then a fight with Katsidis would be interesting, but as of now that might even be too dangerous for Hatton, we just don’t know.
