Who do you think was the most evil dictator, Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, or Joseph Stalin, and why?
First of all, Mussolini was a dictator, and thus dealt heavily with his enemies in a brutal manner. But his death count in history was about 20,000 people in Italy. That’s not a thing to praise, but it is a far cry from the evil of his contemporaries. Hitler, of course, tried to exterminate the Jewish people, and succeeded with about 6 million of them. What many people don’t realize was that he also wanted to exterminate the Slavic races, including Russians, Ukrainians, Serbs and so forth. His plan was one of mass genocide, planned and executed by his “superior race”. When his armies surrounded Leningrad during the war, he called for the total destruction of the city including taking no prisoners and leaving no survivors. (That would have brought about 3 million deaths there alone.) Nazi brutality throughout Russia is well documented.
