Who gives to Saddleback Memorial Foundation?
In Fiscal Year 2005, the Foundation received 3,374 gifts ranging from $1 to $50 million. We also received 53,450 hours of compassionate service from our dedicated group of over 600 volunteers. Our donors and volunteers include individuals, corporations and foundations from diverse backgrounds – like the legendary philanthropists Bill and Louise Meiklejohn – 14-year-old Hayden Stephan who sold mistletoe to benefit SMF… and several other foundations, including Allergan and Citigroup Foundation. Our physicians also play a key philanthropic role in supporting the Medical Center – by giving both their treasure and their time to inspire others to give.
