Who Has Breathing Problems?

0

Just about anyone can have trouble catching their breath. Running quickly increases the amount of oxygen the body needs and healthy lungs naturally accommodate that need by taking in more air. For a healthy person, this is a smooth transition and one from which they quickly recover, returning easily to their natural way of breathing. There are however, many people with upper respiratory allergies, asthma, or who have been long-term smokers who have limited lung capacity. For them, pumping up the oxygen intake is anything but instinctive. It is a painful process that leaves them short of breath and as a result short on energy.
