A. Engineers from the Baltimore District evaluate the levees each year. The team is led by a licensed professional engineer with experience in the design, construction and operation of a levee. The final inspection report undergoes an independent technical review, in which additional professional engineers review and approve the report. Levee owners are encouraged to participate in the inspection process.
