Who invented fluoroscopy?
Fluoroscopy was discovered by one man, but made practical by others. William Conrad Rontgen (sometimes spelled “Roentgen”) discovered the X-ray in 1895. Several scientists experimented with practical applications of the X-ray, but Rontgen himself credited Thomas Alva Edison with making fluoroscopy practical and extending its utility. So, Rontgen discovered the phenomena, but Edison invented fluoroscopy.Source:”Medical Record, Volume 50;” G. F. Shrady and T. L.
