The automatic car washer was first invented in the 1940s and it has been providing convenience ever since to the car wash industry. Nevertheless, the scene slowly died down and nowadays, car owners prefer manual hand wash as compared to the automatic one. This is due to the fact that automatic car washers have been reported to cause scratches or even dents to cars which will not be reimbursed by the car wash operator.
