Who is Adi Shankaracharya?
He is also called as Adi Shankar, and he is supposed to consolidated the teaching of Advaita Vedanta, i.e., Upanishads, Brahma-Sutras and Bhagavad Gita. And, I think (but not sure) he is the person who contributed substantially in making of Vigyan Bharav Tantra, where hundreds of meditation techniques are there, a rare book, I recommend to everyone.
