Who is eligible for a Voluntary Furlough?
Voluntary furloughs will only be offered to flight attendants on active status as of December 2, 2001, who would not otherwise be involuntarily furloughed. Active status in this case, means a Flight Attendant is currently flying or performing covered Flight Attendant duties. This excludes Flight Attendants already on any leave of absence, such as personal, military, unpaid medical, occupational injury or long term disability.
