Who is helping to pay for building the Proton Therapy Center?
M. D. Anderson provided a lease on the land valued at $2.5 million for the facility and Houston-based investment bank Sanders Morris Harris and healthcare facility developer, the Styles Company, have been responsible for helping to raise capital for the Proton Therapy Center. They structured the overall transaction and brought in a number of investors, including local pension funds and private investors, as well as several international companies from the healthcare industry.
