Who is responsible for utilization management, including administration of the CAFAS at the local level?

0

The CPMT is responsible for developing local procedures to ensure all CSA Code and Policy requirements are met. They must also develop procedures to ensure all utilization management requirements are met. This includes administration of the CAFAS. Different localities have chosen different options for accomplishing this requirement, for example, it may be the case manager, CSA Coordinator, or other local staff who will administer the CAFAS. The CPMT may also decide the FAPT, as a whole, will perform this function.
