Who is supervising my child in the Latch Key program?
The district will hire a coordinator and a site base coordinator to run the Latch Key Program. Additional staff will be hired as the population increases. Where will the program be hosted? Each elementary school will have their own Latch Key program and hosted in areas suitable for the activities of the day. What will the children be involved in while at the Latch Key program? The program will provide a variety of activities for the children and include both instruction and play. Will the program be available on half days? Yes. If my child is not present, do we still pay for that day? No. What is the student to teacher ratio? The ratio will depend on student enrollment and align with industry standards. Why is there a $25 registration fee? The registration fee covers the cost of supplies, processing and scheduling. Do we have to have a set schedule or can we pay by the day?
