Who is the author of Encyclopaedia Britannica?
There is no one author of Encyclopaedia Britannica. Thousands of subject matter experts, scholars, journalists, Nobel Prize winners and even past presidents have contributed to the more than 70,000 articles owned by Britannica, including print and online. Articles are also written by in-house editors. The general public may submit articles or content to Britannica, but they have to be approved by the editors before they are published.
