WHO IS THE BEST EMPLOYER?
MOSCOW, December 10, 2007 Within the framework of the IFORS project, Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) presents information on what companies Russians consider to be the best employers and what company that would choose to work for if they were offered a vacancy there. “Gazprom” received the first place in the rating. Nearly half of respondents (44%) mentioned the holding among the most desired places of work, and 38% of respondents awarded the company with the best employer status. Chosen by 23% of respondents, “Rosneft” and “Lukoil” occupied the second place when judged by the priority for potential employees. Taking the future career opportunities in the bank sector into consideration, respondents named Savings Bank (22%), as well as Vneshtorgbank (13%). 15% would be happy to work for RAO „EES”. 12% of respondents would like to be employed by JSC „Russian Railroads”, 9% by Aeroflot. “Norilsk Nickel” appeared attractive to 8% of respondents in terms of employment. 4-6% o
