Who is The Daystar Project Ministry?
We are “a grand experience in Christian Music.” We are a group of musicians bringing the message of hope and eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ to the lost and hurting. We use the gifts and talents God gives us to bring an unique sound and a “new song” to minister to people everywhere. Our style of music includes; Neo-classical, Latin, Latin Jazz, Jazz, Rock, Celtic, and many more to minister to and encourage the listener. Where did The Daystar Project Ministry start? In 1996, the late John Crawford, Associate Pastor of Kingsland Baptist church in Katy, Texas approached Brian Foutz and Don Bleyl to assist in the planning of a “vespers concert ” for the church. Pastor Crawford wanted to tell of the Christ child through creative arrangements of Christmas hymns accompanying a story. Brian, Don and several other members of the praise band said “yes” and so began a tradition of a special gift of music at Christmas.
