Who is the Heavyweight Champion?
I remember growing up as a boy and always knowing who the Heavyweight Boxing Champion of the World was. Today, I am older and more knowledgeable, and I have no idea who the real champ is. I see the advertisements on Showtime and HBO all the time. Usually it is for weight divisions and different organizations that I don’t know anything about. I know that there is an event coming up that involves Oscar De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather. These two names are pretty familiar to me. The bout which will be held on May 5th is for the WBC Jr. Middleweight title. However, when it comes to the Heavyweight picture, I have no idea who the real champ is.
