Who is the Nash County Planning Board?
The Nash County Planning Board is a 9-member appointed board who meets monthly. The primary functions of the board are to review major subdivision plats and rezoning requests. The board makes final decisions on most major subdivision plats but only makes recommendations to the Board of Commissioners with regard to rezoning requests. The Planning Board has a standing meeting on the third Monday of each month at 7:30 pm in the Frederick B. Cooper Room of the J. Claude Mayo, Jr. Office Building in Nashville, NC.
