Who is the new poet laureate of Great Britain?
Yep – Carol Ann Duffy – the first ever woman I think which is cool because everyone was losing interest in the Poet Laureate. Even Andrew Motion said he only wanted it for a while rather than for life as is usually the case. I think it was a really good idea to award it to someone interesting, although Seamus Heaney would have been my choice.
