Who is Worse – Child Molesters or Arsonists – California Votes?
In a recent survey in Southern California, arsonists have passed child molesters as the worst humans in society. Of course, that stands-to-reason considering the multi-billion dollar property losses from the October 2007 wildfires, which killed many people and forced at least 1 million people to evacuate their homes, with over 2,000 homes destroyed. The penalty for arson is 10-years in prison, but when people die, that number goes up. Do the arsonists have the right to live their lives in prison at the expense of the taxpayer? Many folks say no, and suggest that they be “burned alive” to pay for their criminal acts – right now in California few would disagree. In fact, putting arsonists below child molesters in surveys shows the disgust and anger of our society.
