Who issues birth certificates in Vietnamese language?
In many cases, People’s Committees and Administrative Departments of Districts of cities (Saigon, Ho Chi Minh, and others) are authorized to issue birth certificates, marriage certificates, and similar civil registration documents in Ho Chi Minh or in other cities. If you lost your Vietnamese birth certificate or need a new certificate of birth for a newborn, you may contact Consular Services of Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Washington, D.C.
