Who knows anything about Greek Mythology or Mt. Olympus?

Hi: There are a few old school books on Greek mythology. I loved it, and it is the foundation of western civilization. Edith Hamilton and Bullfinches Mythology are good and give you a good overview. Wikipedia has a lot of information too that might help you. Wikipedia does have a family tree link for them. To make the story short, there was something before, and a few variations listed on Wikipedia, then the Titans preceeded the pantheon of 12 gods. One project I had to do for a high school class was to find everyday items that relate to mythology – I think there are a lot more than people are really aware that persist now – Argus cameras, Ajax cleanser, Golden Fleece scouring pads, Oracle, the constellations, the names of the planets around the sun are just a paltry few. I also think it’s really interesting that there are at least two stories in the Bible that are in mythology stories I read – the great flood, and the two angels visiting a family (similar to the story of Lot in Sodom)
