Peter Limmer and Sons in Intervale , NH makes some of the best hiking boots anywhere They can custom make the boots to fit your feet. White’s Boots in Spokane Washington is another excellent bootmaker. You won’t go wrong with either one. I have had a pair of White’s logging boots for 19 years. They are on their 4th set of souls and have enough life in them to be rebuilt one more time.I have never seen their hikers, but I can’t imagine they aren’t the same quality.
