Who owned Cancrizan Priory before it belonged to Camille Damon (Loves Duet)?
Camille inherited the Priory from his French mother, whose English grandfather’s family had owned the property for two centuries. The Priory was the intended destination for the treasure Roland so assiduously pursued in The Golden Chronicles, and part of that same treasure which did reach Cancrizans was the treasure stolen by Amory Hartwell some seventy years later in DUET. I’m sure you’ll remember that most of the Jacobite treasure was successfully concealed in Wales.
