Who owns and manages the Brick Works property?
The entire site is owned by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA). The City of Toronto manages the site under a long-term management agreement. The City’s Culture Department oversees the management of the property and manages the overall site including the buildings. The City’s Parks, Forestry and Recreation Division is responsible for the Park grounds. Many stakeholder groups and individuals, including Evergreen, are actively involved with ongoing restoration and planting events in the Don Valley Brick Works park in addition to other on-site programming initiatives such as special events.
