Who participates in APEC?
The 21 ‘member economies’ (referred to as such because they are all economic entities) represent over 40% of the world’s population, 56% of global GDP and around 48% of world trade. The member economies are: Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, Peoples’ Republic of China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Peru, The Republic of the Philippines, The Russian Federation, Singapore, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, United States, Viet Nam.
