Who pays the costs associated with my staff member being on the Cadre?
The body to which your staff member is deployed or seconded to will pay the costs associated with the deployment or secondment, not the staff member’s Parent Department. While on short-term training it is expected that the Parent Department will pay the salary costs for the staff member. However, we will work with the Parent Department to ensure that their release is of minimum disruption to their day to day work and spread out the training where possible.The actual cost of training and any expenses associated with the courses will be met by the Stabilisation Unit.
